JAMES
Proprietor/Master Stylist
Meet James, the visionary behind HairStudio101.
With over 25 years of experience, and past ownership of two rewarding salon businesses, James stands as a beacon of success and innovation.
James competed and won awards for avant-garde hairstyling in New York and Los Angeles. His achievements also include holding a patent for the design of a perm machine.
Beyond his skills behind the chair, you can see his creativity and handy work throughout the salon in his constant hands on renovations.
James is a local fixture and has a proud connection with the community, and his clients. His dedication ensures that every client who walks through our doors leaves feeling confident and beautiful.
Carol
Master Stylist/Past Owner
My name is Carol Fiorilli. I knew since I was a young girl that I was destined for hairdressing. I am dedicated and passionate about this amazing industry.
After 20 years of salon ownership, I found a new home at HairStudio101. I am ecstatic in my new salon home.
My goal is to make people look and feel better about themselves. I love all phases of haircutting, color, and keratin smoothing treatments.
When I'm not working, you can find me at a rock concert, NYC play, or out to dinner. Time with family and friends is always my favorite !
Deni
Stylist/Curl Specialist
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, I've honed my skills at esteemed salons such as Image's in Bridgewater, Rjay's , and Warren Tricomi Salon in New York. My journey also includes stints at Express Yourself Salon in Far Hills, and Vanity Room Salon, Bernardsville.
As a New York trained stylist, I hold multiple certifications from industry giants like Vidal Sassoon, Jack Dejavous, and Gk Hair, specializing in precision haircutting and styling. My expertise extends to creative color techniques, backed by Goldwell color certification. I've also had the privilege of serving as a color educator for Toco Magi and have been a Deva certified specialist for over 16 years.
Beyond salon work, I ventured into entrepreneurship, owning and operating Redz Cuts in Millburn for seven successful years. I strive to provide clients with excellent services tailored to their unique preferences and style.

Experience Hiedi!
Hiedi, is a seasoned and creative hairstylist with over 15 years' experience in the beauty industry. A New Jersey state licensed cosmetologist, est 2005.
"It's in the blood", Hiedi's mother is a successful retired salon owner. With over a decade and half of experience, growing up in a salon, she has mastered the art of making hair an expression of individual personality.
Hiedi was a part of the creation of HairStudio101 from the ground up and continues to be a part of the progress and growth of our studio.
She infuses fun, warmth, and flair into every client making every hair moment memorable.

Meet Kim!
" Hi, .. I've been in the hair industry for over 25 years. I specialize in precision haircutting, hair colors, high lights, baby lights, balayage, ombre, sombre, keratin smoothing treatments, and formal styling for special events, proms and weddings.
Doing hair is my passion, the most exciting part of my job is challenges. It is a key to learn, and experience a different side of my creativity. Making a difference is my goal."

Meet Peggy!
Over 20 years of experience in our field," a little of everything,".. Including ten years with Fiorilli Hair Salon, and
an accomplished professional cosmetology instructor at Hunterdon County Polytech.
Behind the chair, Peggy has a fondness for coloring, styling, and upstyling for formal events. Her easy to be with personality, and charm puts you at ease while she creates a style that compliments and fits your lifestyle.

Hannah
Stylist/ Stylist Assistant
Introducing Hannah,
Hannah is an accomplished Raritan Valley College alumni with an associate degree in graphic design.
She moved on to complete cosmetology school and achieve a license in 2019.
Hannah's background in the arts comes through in her hairstyling work; she has a passion for hair color and color theory. Hannah is an experienced stylist's assistant and is making her debut behind the chair.
We are happy to have her as part of the HairStudio101 team and can't wait to see where the journey takes her.
